No work, no pay, unprofessional, scary - Pharmacy Technician The PharmaCompoundia Employee Review

If you are looking for a place that focus on helping people and place service above personal gains, this is the place to be. I had been in retail and hospital practice before I joined The company. Their business practices is a model for pharmaceutical compounding. During my interview and for the duration of my employment, I found the owner and the practice to be highly principled. They seek and maintain strick professional relationships with medical practitioners and business associates; no quid pro quo. They strive to do what is right and in the best interest of the patients; they do not make promises they can't or don't have a desire to keep. I came here without compounding experience. I was told from the get go that they are a start up and are in the process of getting benefits; sure enough we got benefits. When I came here, I was hungry to learn. I learnt the right science, technology and practice of compounding. Thank you!!!

The owner is somewhat too academic and cordial. The work environment is informal and it's too easy for employees without good work ethics to take advantage of the informal setting. I've noted people stay on the phone to conduct personal business; sometimes employees will not show up without notice and still get to keep their job; I have seen unscrupulous business associates try to take undue advantage of the business.

There are no good reasons to work here. Some of the staff are great. The owner is horrible and has no redeeming qualities. Cares only about making quick cash, never the patient.

The owner here will promise many things, but they are all lies. He will paint a wonderful picture of you working with him to make hundreds of millions of dollars. He sill tell you he is some big CEO, and that he owns pharmacies all over the United States. Then when you start working reality sets in. He will pay you nothing, no commission on sales, no benefits, and very little support. The company is in debt above its ears. They are being sued and people are giving death threats for not being paid. There will be times where you will not get paid, or not get paid on time. Your paychecks will bounce. You will answer phones and be constantly hounded by bill collectors. If you are unlucky enough to partner with him, be prepared for the above, as well as a loss of your investment. There is not one employee there that has any positive thing to say about him.
