Pros
I started as a vendor for The Perfect Workout several years ago doing software development work. The experience was so good that I left my own company and came on as a full time employee at The Perfect Workout. Since then we've grown the IT team to include several experienced engineers that work to provide a fantastic experience for our clients and staff. I've been able to give regular promotions to our engineers as they continue to develop their skillsets. The IT team is fully remote and located throughout the US. We have flexible work hours I've always appreciated the work/life balance provided by The Perfect Workout. I've always been given clear expectations and I've never been expected to put in unpaid overtime. Weekly one-on-one meetings with my manager ensures that I always have a space to provide feedback or get help. The Perfect Workout is always striving to do better, both for clients and staff. We regularly implement ideas from our staff at all levels, and I've never felt that my voice wasn't heard by management.
Cons
The IT team is small. We lack a dedicated QA that could take some of the load off of the engineers.
