Pros

The best part about working there is helping women incarcerated get back on the right track before they are released.

Cons

Management is sneaky. There are too many morals being broken. They sadly force you to choose between their way and the right way.

Pros

Generally great staff. Friendly environment. People from admissions to marketing to clinical staff really care about the mission and the work. If you are good at communicating your goals and intentions with supervisors and management, they often times will work to help you succeed and move to new roles.

Cons

As is the nature of a nonprofit, they are nearly always in some sort of "transition" or "period of change." If you don't feel comfortable advocating for yourself, this may not be the place for you. Benefits could be better for full time and part time employees.
