The Directory Group Response
7yWe work as a small team - of which the majority of staff are 1) hard working 2) organised and 3) capable - when we have anyone join the company who do not possess the 3 above- unfortunately for them, they 'stick out like a sore thumb' - to all staff members including the MD.
We have various ways to communicate including emails, all staff are encouraged to 'turn company phones/pc's off' during holiday/home times - so they do not have to respond to emails until back at work.
Lunch breaks - when anyone joins the company they are encouraged to take a lunch break always. The fact that many staff members may choose not to take a break and work through lunch is irrelevant and the company cannot be made to feel responsible if you felt pressure to follow suit - that was not the case.
