Pros
I really enjoy working at The Content Factory. I've been here for about 2.5 years and plan to stay for the foreseeable future. I've been able to learn a lot from Kari, as well as my editor (Chris), and the rest of the team. Everyone at TCF is incredibly talented and very likely to help you with any work issue. Some of the members of the team have been there for years (turnover is low), so they have a lot of wisdom to impart. I feel lucky to be able to be a part of this crew. Favorite things about my job: flexible schedule, 401(k), fair pay, merit-based system, little-to-no office drama/politics, getting to work from home (or anywhere).
Cons
It's a small business (about a dozen employees), so sometimes you wear more than one hat, but on the other hand, that helps you learn more (and provides you with opportunities to ask for work that falls outside the scope of your position). Since everyone works remotely, all communication is via email or Slack, so tone is difficult to distinguish at times.
