the hours are pretty long for a restaurant.

Minimal side work at open. With toast handhelds job is cake.

Discriminatory management. They take advantage of a constant influx of trainees as cheap labor for running food, rolling silver, etc. they’ll constantly reference the training packet but will scold you for doing something you learned from the packet like checking out tables using toast handhelds. Management needs to treat people with the respect they give. Management told me about a rumor that was being spread and then fired me for confronting the issue head on and asking people not to make things up about me. They claimed they told me to let it go. They didn’t. They also are the ones who confronted me about it. Regardless, this place is just plain racist. If it doesn’t fit their liberal views or lifestyle they will shame you. They didn’t like me because they thought I didn’t like gay people. Idc if people are gay. I consider myself an ally but still felt like they hated me because I wasn’t a sissy. They called me untrainable because I’ve worked in the industry for 12 years and there wasn’t much I needed to learn.
