Cons
Snotty co-workers Constant turnaround Required to monitor total store sales by the hour to compare with historical sales. Some employees would be proud and excited if the sales were higher than the last year's, and stressed if not, but the irony was that the employees were not rewarded for achievements. Required to cold-call 15 past customers every day, "reminding them" to come to Buckle, mentioning current (crappy) sales Manager would hire people who were clearly under-qualified, then let them go within 2 weeks RELENTLESS pressure to sell. This includes carrying around a little tally sheet and having to mark off that you asked each and every customer to try on: 2 jeans, 3 shirts, 1 accessory, 1 cologne/perfume, 2 pairs of shoes, and more. No matter what they came in for! You literally were told to just throw them over the door if they didn't ask. Team meetings that would last for several hours and hold employees way later. I always said I was busy to avoid them.
