Pros

It's a fun, supportive, very relaxed, and non-competitive environment with good supervisors. If you like working with kids you will like this job. It's very low stress, and they have multiple campuses so you can try out different positions without having to look for a new employer. Tired of family therapy, try group...Tired of group, try residential, etc. If you're half-way competent as a therapist you can get recognized and can get monetary promotions.

Cons

There's a TON of dead weight at this company. They may as well be a government organization for all the people they have sitting around just drawing a salary. Because of this, and for a few other reasons, their pay is well below industry standard in Columbus. I worked there for almost 4 years because of the stability and liking the people I worked with, but once I became independently licensed it just wasn't worth it any more. Also, they put you through the ringer on health insurance, your premiums basically double unless you attend "health consciousness" classes, and see your doctor for needless reasons. I don't wear glasses, but was supposed to go get my eyes checked in order to get enough points to qualify for a smaller health insurance premium???. If you have weekly hours set as a therapist that conflict with their wellness events, then good luck paying a reasonable amount for health care. Their technology and billing software is also quite outdated. They are working on improving it, but at the core of every therapist's job is documentation, and the software they use couldn't make it any harder to simply enter notes for sessions. It just wears on you over time.
