Pros

It is a good part time job while in school. Looks good on resume if applying to grad school.

Cons

You don't get paid much.

Pros

A great group of professors willing to help you with anything you need. A self paced environment, but a hard push to get a paper published. Overall a very good experience, and a great place to do research!

Cons

Felt like there was a lack of feedback, everything was either a new idea or positive never any pushback which wasn’t great.

Pros

- you get to say you work for a university - they are inclusive i guess

Cons

Make no mistake: they do not care about you. You can give them 10 years of your life and they can dissolve your 'contract' on a whim. You will be working outside your contract ~1 month/year if you want to actually do your job. The benefits package is worthless, there aren't even any doctors in network within a 50 mile radius except some holistic practice and one guy with awful reviews. Most people you work with will be incompetent (many of the teaching faculty), and if you are good at your job you will wind up doing theirs too.
