Pros
Money, Cool atmosphere, see famous people occasionally
Cons
Long hours- 16 hour shifts w/ no designated breaks. They will also hold you hostage at work for hours w/ no sales, just so you appear busy in case somebody walks in. For a business only being open 3 years it is in terrible shape, multiple bars with broken/unused terminals and soda guns that dont work. Im sure Jim Watry hasnt missed a paycheck but cant make sure a million dollar business is opperating the way it needs to. Management was initially great as they came from other live venues w/ experience, however, as they leave, Texas Live always hires from outside rather than promoting people w/ experience from within. So its starting from square 1 everytime we get new management. Also I wouldnt reccomend a manager position if you are trying to grow, as they will just hire some guy name Ron from somewhere else who has vast "Bar knowledge", but truely is a fool.
