Pros

They will hire felons and keep multiple felony employees. It's a job, if you have a record and have had issues finding employment. .

Cons

This company is rife with nepotism. They pride themselves on "family values" but to this company that means hiring family for positions they aren't qualified for and them keep them in positions despite their poor job performance. If you take a job at this company you will quickly realize that you are working for a company that will throw you under the bus, with the help of their HR department, if you have any disagreements or conflicts with part of the family. This company hires heavy equipment operators, drivers, and customer service staff at below average pay rates and then expects heavy amounts of overtime from these employees. Crews typically work 60 hour plus weeks with very little paid vacation time or holidays. Salary paid managers are hired expecting 40 hour work weeks, but then are required to work more hours than described in the job description. This all made for a very stressful job as a manager. There are no bonus structures and very little room for career advancement due to friends and family filling many of newly available positions. This leads to a high turnover rate and a nightmare for continuity and communication between departments. I worked in the landfill and felt like worker and customer safety was a very low priority. Monthly safety meetings consisted of little more than a doughnut and some free safety glasses.

Pros

Working at TDS has been both challenging and rewarding. We support a wide variety of departments under Marketing, which keeps the work dynamic and engaging. The team itself is one of the biggest highlights — we collaborate closely, celebrate wins together, and push each other to keep improving. Leadership is another strong point. Our Director and senior staff lead by example, offering guidance without micromanaging, and providing opportunities to expand our skillsets. Over time, the team has built a strong reputation across the organization, becoming a trusted partner for everything from digital strategy to creative execution. There’s also a lot of creative freedom. You’re encouraged to own your projects, bring ideas to the table, and see them through. It’s a place where you can really sharpen your skills across web, SEO, design, PR, and more.

Cons

The workload can feel heavy at times since the team handles so much for so many different brands. It’s rewarding, but it can stretch resources thin. Compensation and advancement opportunities are available, but they require patience. Depending on where you live, the drive to the office can be long since TDS facilities are outside the city center.

Pros

Decent pay that’s about it

Cons

Terrible structure in the tire shop shop lead fails to manage tire shop efficiently 1st shift work ethic is beyond non existent other shifts have to pick up their slack and still get chewed out over things that could be very easily avoided or fixed if the morning crew did anything there is zero accountability in the shop what so ever no year or bi yearly raises and management wonders why they can’t keep a second and third shift around when there seems to be a very common denominator
