Benefits. You can slack off. You write your own check. Green company that’s honestly just for show tho. You can smash any of the dispatchers.
Cons
Low pay. Poor equipment (Pallet Jacks are old and rusty. Two wheelers are always broken. Truck ramps are rusty and hard to pull out) If you’re a class A driver you won’t touch a class A truck unless you’re really needed for that day only. Class A drivers make the same as Class B drivers. Out to date trucks. Never a set route even after a year. When you need help no one helps you. Seniority is a joke here. You don’t get pension there’s guys that have been here for 10+ years and don’t have a 401k yet because of policies. The CEO buys out votes whenever they need to negotiate a contract to agree on a beneficial one. CEO wins the workers Lose. 3$ in 5 years for at 18.50 starting pay. Until 2025. Ridiculous. Rushing to do pre trip because you’re usually loading your own truck with shorts they didn’t have at night for orders. .50 raise every year is crazy. Inflation didn’t help the commons worker but definitely helped the company raise prices and profits
