TERRA is an awesome company filled with amazingly talented people! From the Administrative/Business Operations teams to all the technical staff, across all 4 offices, there is a strong sense of collaboration and connection. Being a mid-size company (about 115 employees), it's great to know everyone beyond just an email address or a photo on their Teams profile. Also at this size, it's easier to be noticed and acknowledged for your contributions to the organization, and your individual departments. The leadership has brought on many interesting opportunities and projects that has been key to an employee's success and intended career path. Our leadership is also not afraid to try new things while being cautious, and add to our wheelhouse, resulting in over 30 years of stability and exponential growth and a low turnover rate . The culture is warm, inviting and progressive. Management is very open to new ideas and suggestions to improve processes and the organization as a whole.
Cons
We are in a growth stage, adjusting to having more work than employees to do it! TERRA is currently short-staffed across all offices. It's difficult to compete against major organizations for the same pool of talented individuals. We are a staff of hard workers with the drive and determination to satisfy our clients at whatever cost. But being under-staffed, sometimes the price to be paid is the employees feeling overwhelmed. Leadership is doing their best to attract quality employees that can help even out the workload. Overall, TERRA is lucky to have people that will do what's necessary to get the job done until we can achieve adding more staff. (Check out our careers page on our website!)
