Pros
- The team at my time was good enough for me to learn new things.
Cons
-Micro-managing done by CEO
-Was called out for communicating with developers, "I AM A QA".. Who else should I talk to? Communicating with developers was a crucial part of my job as I was advised by my manager and team lead to learn about the details of their work.
-He has been known to be saying disturbing things to the QAs in the past
-Have made gender biased comments
-Would try to find reasons so he can point out the mistakes in front of other team members just for the sake of proving his wrong point right.
-Gave me a bad increment because he didn't think I was worth it, I was the only QA for his product. I took care of the backlog and the never-ending tickets. Brought the count of 200 something in testing tickets to the current features being developed. Cleared out the whole testing board.
-I was promised work from home later on, they changed their minds because of a lack of team coordination. I was the whole team. Which then cost me the months I could have searched for a remote job.
