Pros
Sitting for extended times with no work and getting paid
Cons
The severe lack of communication from management AND peers. Asking repeatedly for training and even the assigned project overview is futile My 1st assignment was a terrible introduction to the cpany with the lack of training and support. The 2nd assignment, in which I was there a short time, the communication, and training was abhorrent. I did say something and was moved to a different team and new project and had the exact same issue then said something again. Was moved to a third project and sat for over a week with absolutely nothing to do. I asked daily for information, a meeting for introduction to my new team and support with a one response of "I Will". The managers I was assigned to work under on the 3 teams NEVER returned my emails and NEVER reached out to see if I needed anything after me reaching out for any guidance or to be involved. I was assigned a person to work with at the first 2 projects and practically had to beg for help and received VERY little. In the few meetings I had with them, anytime I asked a question I was talked over, ignored and a couple times talking on the phone I was told that they couldn't help me and hung up on. In essence I would not even waste your time trying. I believe I was treated that way because EVERYSINGLE PEER in my assignments that were supposed to help were a different nationality and I do believe it was discrimination. This job for the 8 months I worked there cause me so much stress that it wasn't worth it anymore and I am leaving and going somewhere else. I was also de ied vacation and when I put in time for a medical procedure, when I asked if it was going to be approved because the request for those 3 days I put in 2 weeks and no approval or denial, I was asked if I could change the dates. Absolutely ridiculous.
