Pros

- Easy location from the burbs - Many of the clients are very friendly and open to your team's input - Nice building - Small agency, but employees are friendly and collaborative

Cons

- Contrary to what I mentioned in pros, the staff is very overworked and under-appreciated for the work they do. This is also compounded by the fact that management forces unrealistic performance expectations on such a small team - Despite what you might be told when first starting, management does not put their employees' well-being first - The new management there created a hostile work environment to employees. Some client recap meetings turned into prolonged temper tantrums which hurt employee morale and detracted from actual work. The workplace bullying is unprofessional and very demoralizing. - Management will not fix serious issues when pointed out - Unrealistic deadlines for major projects - Management does not give many of the stellar employees the recognition they so rightly deserve - It was already mentioned, but the larger SmithBucklin company offers little to no support

Pros

A fantastic group of people and interesting clients if you work in tech. Smaller agency setting allowed for frequent collaboration and a friendly work environment.

Cons

Boutique agency, so fewer internal networking opportunities.

Pros

The size of the Tech Image team means nobody is consistently doing "intern work." Associates work alongside management, interacting with clients and pushing towards a common goals. Because of this, the path to promotion and career growth is phenomenal. The clients are fulfilling, and the team is honestly just a group of fun people. Plus, due to the relationship with SmithBucklin, Tech Image offers really exceptional benefits and downtown offices.

Cons

Despite there being around 500 colleagues who work for SmithBucklin in Chicago, Tech Image borders on a boutique agency, which might not be everyone's ideal agency structure. The team can feel small, with is both a pro and a con.
