Pros

By far, the best part of working at TPM is the company culture. The whole team enjoys working, learning, and growing together. There is an atmosphere of flexibility and trust, earned by years of fighting together for high quality in what we produce, success for our company and our clients, as well as each others' own opportunities and expertise. Our CEO has presented at conferences on creating a culture of joy in a workplace, because that is exactly what we have -- we all genuinely enjoy working here. Everyone has the opportunity to develop their skills, grow and learn, and to be seen and recognized (frequently) for their efforts. Work balance is great, and I'm grateful (as a mom of little kids) that I have a job where my personal life and family are valued too, not just how many hours I put in. There is flexibility to work from home, we regularly get a week of paid time off throughout the year, and are encouraged to take a mental health day when needed. Lastly, the office is an awesome place to be too, on a physical level -- we keep it clean, there's big windows with lots of daylight, plenty of space, and quiet areas for focused work.

Cons

I love working at TPM and don't really think there's any cons, but for full disclosure, you do need to be willing to work hard and adapt to change easily. This is not a "clock-in, clock-out, don't care about anything in between" kind of job.

We're so thankful for our team who cares about so many different things, and yes -- if you want to simply "clock in" and get a paycheck, go find another place. We care tons!

Pros

Amazing team that really is structured around teamwork Good compensation for a remote position C-suite and higher-ups are super down to earth and they really make me feel at home Super transparent about performance and about status of clients. I get to see the bigger picture outside of my position and I get to help and weigh in

Cons

I guess that the only con I can think of is that I think that our digital team is not expanding enough and we're not pursuing to grow in terms of adding new marketing channels to the mix quickly enough.

Love this, and yes -- as you know ;) the founders are still involved on a daily basis and in the active management of the agency. We're so excited by the fact that our little world has created opportunities for growth and advancement for so many. As to your comment about other channels, that is a significant goal for 2023 ... good things are coming. :)

Pros

The company has a great culture. Offers 6 weeks on/1 week off rotation (they call it a sabbatical rhythm). Very flexible and fully remote. No benefits.

Cons

The pay is beans compared to how much you could make doing the same thing somewhere else. For instance, a content writer for this company makes about $40k/yr, but could make at least $60k minimum. Client support is paid around $17.50/hr. They keep employees because of the fun and inclusive environment and the sabbatical rhythm. Additionally, the work/friendship balance can feel blurred at times and they have a somewhat unclear org structure that changes often. Not to mention, they are not the best at what they do and continually try to sell a service that they dont really excel at.
