Pros
Chock full of delightful, knowledgeable people who want to do a good job. Fair yearly salary increase. Comfortable offices, and (post covid) reasonable WFH policies. Minimum requirement for unscheduled or out of hours work.
Cons
Little scope for movement within the company. Offered < £50 worth of training in 5 years. Senior technical management that plays favourites with the 'yes people' and side-lines dissent. Prepared to lose valuable staff and knowledge rather than concede that occasionally someone else might know better, and to bad mouth them in their absence. Credit quickly stolen, blame swiftly attributed. Inconsistent and self contradictory reasoning given on many occasions.
