Pros
There are no pros at all to working here.
Cons
First off, this is not a journalism outlet -- it's a bunch of lawyers and legal analysts who write for other lawyers. Most of the time, the writers are mind-numbingly boring and have no clue how to write. Management here is awful -- it's a hostile, nerve-wracking work environment, and most people are truly miserable -- at least in the division I worked in. It's a snitch culture, and the managers have their favorites whom they dote on, and treat the rest abominably. There is incredibly high turnover here, which is a clear red flag. Any self-respecting experienced journalist would shun this place, and if you are interested in writing or editing copy about taxes, then apply to Bloomberg instead.
