Pros

Above average compensation Great coworkers Enjoyable clients

Cons

- Absolutely ZERO work-life balance - Feels like you have Management spying on you constantly - Blackout weeks are a joke. Nobody can take PTO for 6 or 8 weeks during the year because of certain renewals (even if you don't work on the account, you still can't take PTO) - Endless amounts of meetings - Agree with the review that says it almost feels like a sweatshop - Underwriters get bullied but are forced to put up with it because of the size of the clients they write business for - Employee Turnover is insane (Roughly 50% each year) Throughout my time in the insurance industry, I have met others who have worked here as well and not a single one of them has enjoyed their time here either. That should tell you something.

Tave Risk Management Response

It is unfortunate to learn of your disappointing experience, brief as it was. We have a truly collaborative environment, which means sometimes it is “all hands on deck” in the office. Your turnover statistics are wildly inaccurate. We value our employees and insurer partners, as they are instrumental in successfully meeting our clients’ needs. Experienced, professional brokers understand the need to negotiate effectively to benefit the large and prestigious clients we have. Feedback is valued as we continue to grow and improve our organization.
