Pros
Seriously, there is nothing good to say about this place except people are nice.
Sales: if you're in a rare department that hasn't been hit with "preferentualism" in the leadership... then you may be ok. Otherwise, they turn you into underpaid pit-vipers raising quotas and moving the proverbial chopping block closer each quarter. And even when you do make a sale, 50% of the time it gets lost through mistakes in legal and product.
Cons
Crooks - they actually took away money for 2-days of "over-used" vacation time that was misallocated to me, without even thinking about the overtime I put in for trade-shows and such. They are constantly messing up commissions and checks, and delaying payments. You can't trust this place due to sheer incompetance, let alone when they puposely try to pinch pennies.
Absolutley ZERO management skills, or sense of direction. All products are AGES behind any competitor and they can't put any resources into development. (Took the product team 3 months to make a plug-in that our competitor made in a single day).
I was constantly closing deals that were then messed up and lost by product or legal (yes, legal - takes months to approve a SIGNED templatized order). I've never seen so much business LOST by internal teams, after Sales had won the deal.
Think they will 'empower' you? We had ZERO access to SalesForce to track accounts and projects, we had ZERO access to funtional demo accounts with which to provide client demos, we had ZERO access to any tools whatsoever with the exception of Excel. LOL.
They have a glass ceiling, (though Glassdoor won't let me tell you what it is based on... however feel free to google for yourself, "Tata employment complaints" or Google the articles about the Federal case(s) against Tata for Whistleblower Retaliation). Because of this glass ceiliing, certain 'types' are being dumped like they are radioactive. Again, no joke, check out the legal issues HR has had with various states DOL (Dept of Labor). It's not hidden, it's all public.
This place is TOXIC. Do not approach.
Tata USA is where careers go to die.
