Thanks for sharing your Taplytics experience. It deeply saddens me, and the rest of our team, that you clearly had such a poor experience during your time at our company. I truly hope that you find happiness and fulfillment in your life.
Hyperbolic reviews, like the one you posted, have created many internal discussions amongst our team members. The overwhelming sentiment is how upset our team feels when they read a review like this and its inaccurate reflection on a place where they love to work.
Your assertion that we post fake reviews is insulting. No member of the founding team has posted a review on Glassdoor. You may fairly disagree with our founder-lead company philosophy; however, even across the other negative reviews that you reference is there any mention of anyone being treated with anything other than respect, honesty and integrity? If members of our team elect to share their honest feedback on Glassdoor, it is of their own volition.
Our employees know that culture is paramount to our success. Beyond the recent fun group activities like Zoom yoga classes, virtual farm visits, and online poker nights, our team gets together outside of work regularly. We enjoy each other’s company and regularly celebrate our successes inside and outside of work.
At Taplytics, our core product relies on experimentation and iteration to help our clients improve their businesses. Our company follows this same approach with its growth. In 2019, we doubled in size. At this rate of growth, iteration and change occurred quickly. This is one of the exciting and challenging opportunities that comes with start-up life. This isn’t the life for everyone, but the only way to grow and evolve is to embrace this philosophy, even if difficult changes happen in the short term. Have we always made the right decisions? No! But we have learned from each decision and it has helped us evolve faster and better.
As leaders, we are driven by creating an environment where our employees feel supported, heard and respected. We value the feedback we receive formally through culture surveys and informally through 1:1 conversations.
As a Co-Founder group, we are ultimately responsible for the environment and culture of the company. My team and I are proud of that culture and we work hard every day to make it better. When we receive critical feedback, it’s our responsibility to own it and address it. I’m sorry to disappoint you with a heartfelt response.
If you have additional feedback about your experience that you’d like to share, please email feedback@taplytics.com so we can have a conversation about your concerns.
