Pros
The employees are truly wonderful people - supportive and helpful of each other. The physical environment is great, the company is steady and consistently profitable. Their processes are consistent, and once you understand your position, it is very clear what is expected of you. Immediate managers are supportive and helpful. Going to work is typically a positive daily experience.
Cons
There are well-known "golden children" of the company - employees are not treated equally - you're either loved or you don't exist. There is no upward mobility - once you're hired in a position, expect to stay there at roughly the same pay for years. There just isn't anything to aim for except "more sales", but our processes don't necessarily support more sales. The processes are slow and not adaptable to small orders, making getting increased sales difficult. They are very hard on sales employees, but they also pay sales much more than the rest of the support team - even though the support teams (design and customer service) are directly involved with the sales success. The job titles are not reflective of the actual positions.
