Pros
I had the best years of my life working here. It is not a lucrative job in the immediate, but if you take your experience seriously and commit to learning, you can develop material career skills that are universal. Additionally, this camp has a phenomenal reputation in Southeast Michigan, and leaders from this camp often gain some clout that becomes serious capital in the job market.
Cons
Summer camp work is difficult. Excelling at that work is extremely hard, but all the benefits of that (beyond take-home pay) are worth it
