- Everything told/promised to me during the application process turned out to be nothing but a ruse. My situation regarding schooling and how many hours I can realistically dedicate to the company was discussed openly and honestly prior to signing the contract, though the firm's expectations appeared to have changed drastically right after the ink on the contract had dried. - Lies, lies, lies. They claimed to have "understood" my situation and want to assist generously in me finishing my schooling and that I would be allotted time to focus on finishing my education. However, the concept of flexibility completely disappeared out of the management's thoughts when I had problems with public transport. Arriving 30 minutes later (and making up for it on the same day by staying 30 minutes longer) should not be and never will be detrimental or life-ending; this is a commercial company and not emergency services. - Let go on third day because "things didn't go as expected". I made it very clear what their expectations should encompass, which included flexibility for me to finish my schooling. However, problems that were beyond my control regarding public transport were somehow included in my completely undefined list of responsibilities (mind you, I was never told anything about having to be at the office at precisely "X" A.M. and that I can only leave at "Y" P.M.). If the planned transport route suddenly has been cancelled, what do you expect me to do besides communicating this immediately? - Unrealistic expectation from the first week that I will do extra overtime that is not included or demanded in my contract, let alone reimbursed.
