Pros
A few dedicated colleagues who genuinely care about clients. Some exposure to the company’s proprietary tools and methodology (though limited in practical value outside of Talent Plus walls). The building overlooks a pretty golf course.
Cons
Toxic leadership and rampant nepotism: The organization is run by individuals with little to no leadership experience, yet they believe they are the smartest in the room. Zero tolerance for feedback: Any attempt to offer constructive input or anything contrary to what they leaders have said is met with defensiveness or retaliation. Questionable ethics: The founder’s behavior toward women has been a long-standing concern, and there are rumors of past legal settlements. No career growth: Development opportunities are reserved for those in the inner circle. Promises made during hiring rarely match reality. High turnover and instability: Headcount dropped by over 50% in the time since the pandemic. That is after there was a significant RIF during Covid. Much of the decline has been great talent who saw the writing on the wall and sought after an organization that would value them. The rest were mostly terminations for trivial reasons or because senior leadership don't know how to lead and develop others. Facade of success: The large building is mostly empty and the company’s image does not reflect its reality. They tout that they know talent and how to lead but they are not capable of taking their own advice. Finances are private, but they have had to cancel their annual freedom celebration because they simply don't have the money to fund it. Either that or senior leaders are hoarding because they know the business is declining.
