Pros

They rarely fire people and pay/hours are predictable.

Cons

You will be overworked and underpaid. They rarely hire new people and turnover is high because no one wants to work for so little. Instead of listening, they continue to try to weasel out of admitting they overpay executives and underpay their lower level workers by touting their benefits which are honestly mediocre and have only improved by a little bit over the years. I have witnessed a lot of hostility between staff that is never addressed, supervisors openly show favoritism and if you aren't a favorite you will be given more and more work until you quit or otherwise fail.
