Pros

Friday breakfast Dogs in the office

Cons

It was bad from the beginning. Unless you're British and treat your boss as if they were your friends, you won't find a place in this company. So, if you're a foreigner, you may want to consider other options. If you need to take your time to make sure you understand the procedures, they won't like it. You should already know everything. They keep referring to the brand's "style" and when you ask them about it, they say "you'll pick it up" Truth is, they won't tell you and blame you for not knowing what their "tone" is. You're told that most of your colleagues on the phone didn't pass probation in the 3 months the company give you as probation. They think this is good, but if they actually trained you and were serious about it, they would see that as a failure in the training process. I mean, if MOST people cannot finish their probation on time, whose fault is it? Hint: it's theirs but they'll blame it on you. They already act self entitled as if they were huge but they're still a start up. Be ready to see your "colleagues" being treated like kings and queens because of their metrics but if you achieve the top position while you're a newbie, no one will say a word. Also, many people cheat, everyone knows and does nothing about it. When you know, you know how to make your numbers bigger than they actually are. If you have mental health issues, like anxiety and depression, they will pretend to care but, in reality, this means they will try and make you leave. Incompetent team leaders who know nothing about leading, will lie to you and then when (if!) questioned about it, they will deny everything and never take responsibility for their mistakes. Classic narcissistic behaviour. Micromanaging at its best, with people thinking they own the place. And, of course, going to your boss instead of offering actual help if they consider you need it, as a first step. I wouldn't believe the brilliant reviews here, they have been left by those who have been assigned to different teams other than being on the phone with crazy people, dealing with their awful, unprofessional delivery company that makes them lose a lot of money. If you love and respect yourself, look somewhere else. Don't offer me to talk about it Tails because I already tried and you did nothing about it. Shame.

I am sincerely sorry to hear that this is how you felt during your time at tails.com. We take feedback around diversity and xenophobia very seriously - there is no place for it at tails.com. I want to assure you that we'll look into your comments and use them alongside our bi-annual engagement survey to ensure we're building the best team possible. If you do decide to reach out at any point to talk about this in more detail, please know that myself and our People team are always here. King regards, Henrik Head of People

Pros

Working for a company offers steady income, benefits, and a built-in team, along with structure and chances to grow your skills and career.

Cons

Working for a company offers steady income, benefits, and a built-in team, along with structure and chances to grow your skills and career. On the flip side, you trade away some control over your time and decisions, deal with office politics and bureaucracy, and face limits on flexibility and earning potential. It’s a balance of security and structure versus autonomy and upside.
