Pros

This company has such amazing people who work here. I absolutely love coming to work every day. The people here are passionate, hard-working, and driven by the company's mission of helping animals and making great products. It's a family business and you feel it - in a good way. The company has grown quite a lot in the last year, the entire management team seems to have accumulated a lot of hands-on experience and it's showing in the company's positive performance. You can also see it by the caliber of the people the company is bringing in - much better hiring decisions are being made. Overall I am excited for what the future holds for TagsforHope and glad to be here.

Cons

Like any growing business, there are a few things that the company can improve on (I've already seen improvements in most of these areas) - Sometimes there is a bit of too much freedom, more direction and SOPs would be helpful - Provide a clearer road map for each individual on how they can grow within the company - More structured training for management staff, I feel like this will go a long way in making the entire team even better

Opportunities for Growth: The only limitation to your growth at TagsforHope, is your willingness and ability to learn and improve. Your value to the company is rewarded and your contributions are never unappreciated or ignored. Work environment: Clean work space, collaborative setting, free snack food and drinks in the breakroom, work and eat at your desk, bring your pets - it's like your second home. Management and Leadership: You work directly with the company founders and managers, meaning your ideas and suggestions are immediately recognized. They're incredibly friendly and personable, and you never feel intimidated. Team Dynamics: All departments are interconnected and work closely together. They're always hiring new talent - that means you'll be working with amazing loyal people who support you in your role (there's no unfair competitive culture). Company Performance: The pet industry is recession-proof, TagsforHope has demonstrated that many times. The company's growth is highly stable and they're constantly expanding the team and infrastructure (upgrading to a new and bigger building in 2025)

Cons

Every company has its faults, the differentiator at TagsforHope is the speed and effectiveness at resolving issues. Feedback is always encouraged and typically resolved the same day. If there's any cons, they won't last long!

The office team is relatively small, which means each member takes on a broad range of responsibilities. However, efforts are underway to expand the team, which is expected to significantly alleviate the workload and improve overall efficiency.
