Pros
Job security. It's incredibly easy to keep your job at TSA as long as you are doing your job properly according to the SOP. Relatively easy opportunities for overtime. Plenty of networking chances with fellow officers, and higher.
Cons
If you don't like a job making you feel like you're a cog in a machine, then this isn't the job for you. Some management can be minor-managing. "Long wait times vs. Need to screen everybody properly" High attrition rate. Low morale and high gossip levels (depending on who you talk to and interact with) (Sometimes it's like working with many highschoolers)
