Pros
If you're a confident and competent communicator it's an incredibly easy and fun job with major opportunities for growth and success. Never had a more enjoyable work environment. The leadership is caring and supportive while professional and business savvy. Company works alongside some of the most prestigious events in the world including Formula 1, MotoGP, and a variety of international boat/yacht shows. The work trips are always an experience! Real opportunity to create relationships with very high-level executives in some of the most powerful organizations in the world. Fantastic work-life balance! We almost never work outside of 9-5 Monday to Friday, unless we have an event to attend on a weekend which is usually enough fun that it doesn't even feel like work. Office is located in a very hip part of downtown Evanston. Close to the beach, close to Northwestern, close to lots of good food, and public transportation. Leads are incredibly warm and require only a moderate level of salesmanship to convert to sales. Future of the company is bright!
Cons
Small office with insufficient parking. Sometimes you have to park a couple blocks away and walk 5-10 minutes. The training isn't highly sophisticated - in fact its a little bit sink or swim. There's about 2 days of basic sales training then you're tossed in the deep end to see what you can do. If you're good at it, you'll love it, and your success will be on full display for everyone in the room. If you're not good at it or you don't like it, you'll feel it pretty quickly and so will everyone else. Takes a certain amount of bravery to perform in this environment.
