Avoid. They are liars and untrustworthy - Real Estate Agent TRELORA Employee Review

Trelora is all around a pretty good place to work. In looking at some of the other reviews, the culture must vary a bit based on location. My team is pretty diverse and pretty much all of the managers in my location are female, which is empowering to see! The office is in a pretty cool location, but everywhere around it is expensive, so getting lunch out is hard to afford to do often. Probably the best thing about being here is getting to have a long lasting impact on the people who buy or sell their home with Trelora. It feels good to have clients get excited about having a good experience and saving a ton of money, especially with how crazy expensive houses can be. The day to day work is fun enough, but its the teammates and camaraderie that make it a place I'm happy to be

It seems like because Trelora is so focused on charging people less money, there is also less money for employees. Part of the reason to be at Trelora is to help save people money, but it means that I'm making less than some other agents would but at least I get benefits and PTO which I have not gotten at other places. Also when it is really busy, especially at the peak of summer it can get really hard to manage the workload and still have a life. If you are fan of being outside in the summer, this is not a good fit.

The only pro is you’re actually remote

Where do I start for one I’m curious where these great reviews are coming from every employee I know there is miserable and hates the company let’s start with they are RACIST SEXIST and HOMOPHOBIC they advertise a salary and hire you on with a 20-30k paycut they kept stressing this is a six figure opportunity but in reality it’s below the poverty level the salary is a joke the Management is a joke the office is dirty disgusting and full of bugs and they expect you to come sit in filth at least 2 times per week they treat their employees terribly and if anyone speaks up for themself or someone else they fire you without an explanation. They lie constantly and promise the employees things they have no intention of following through with just stringing them along like a bad relationship. DO NOT expect any type of promotion if you’re not a straight white man everyone else is treated subpar if you are a female or any race other than white or lgbt please don’t consider this company they will treat you worse than the gum on the bottom of your shoe I can’t believe they are still in business after the treatment I’ve witnessed with several people. They claim to only promote from within but that’s only if you fit the race, sex, and sexual orientation they prefer. HR is aware of how they treat people and do nothing about it. I wouldn’t recommend this company to a homeless person
