Pros

Previously had a lot of flexibility in the job, sometimes the work is interesting. Many competent coworkers who are good, fun people. Used to be a decent place to work. Was very accommodating work life balance previously. Only reason for extra star in the job was decent when I started but has gone downhill since.

Cons

Incredibly poor turnover. Management does not use the competent employees to the best of their ability or full potential, doesn’t follow through on promises, makes poor overall business and day to day operational decisions. Micromanaging. Saying one thing, doing another. Inappropriate conversations/comments. VP at least is a good family guy but now works remote which was a catalyst for the worsening conditions. Wrongful termination of good employees. So many get burnt out. Currently have an unqualified person making important financial and managerial decisions. Owner has become untrustworthy.

Pros

I loved my coworkers & the warehouse staff. I second the other review that there were good lunch spots lol. Good experience and knowledge for my resume for my next role.

Cons

Owner would micro-manage and rush production causing steps and procedures to be missed and done incorrectly. A lot of gaslighting over policies and procedures. Owner told the all Mexican warehouse staff that “this isn’t Tijuana, clean it up in here”. If a mistake was made the owner would immediately go outside to talk sh*t about you on the phone with the president of the company. Poor pay scale compared to market value w/ no room for growth and development. Heavy work load w/ little to no recognition. Owner hired an unqualified assistant to run finances & AR/AP, doesn’t have a CPA & often delayed customer orders and transactions due to not reporting payments. High turnover, in my year with the company saw 4 different office personnel and 2 warehouse staff come and go. Outdated systems & inventory control, and a LOT of paperwork. They do a good job of “selling” the role to you & then upon getting hired pile on tasks with very little training & often outside of the scope in which you were hired. There’s more of course, but save your time and your sanity from applying here.
