Pros
Competitive salary, decent benefits. If you stay around long enough, there is a profit sharing plan.
Cons
Here are a couple anecdotal stories from long time (10+ year employees) that I have spoken with... I was speaking to someone about using the suggestion box. She got a very serious look on her face, lowered her voice and said that in the past people had been tracked down and counseled about some of the suggestions left in the supposedly anonymous box. In speaking with another employee, I found out that things used to be very different. People used to be empowered and trusted to get their jobs done. This has not been the case since I have been there. Every detail has to be scrutinized by upper management to the nth degree. This slows every decision down to a glacial pace. Retention is a problem. If you consider interviewing here, dig into this yourself and ask some hard questions. Unless you love revolving doors, you won't like the answers.
