This company has no idea what they're doing, or what they want to be when they grow up. - Anonymous employee THX Employee Review

Pros

There were some very bright people at THX who were very knowledgable about their particular area of expertise.

Cons

There is absolutely no direction from the top. They would send you off to complete a project, then ignore it when you were finished. They would commit resources to initiatives, then cancel them as soon as you started to make headway. They would engage in discussions for strategic partnerships, then walk away from the table with no warning. Life at THX was nothing more than vacillating from one time suck to the next with no purpose or direction.

Pros

The overall work atmosphere is stellar, even in a remote setting. The THX team is flexible and understanding with work/life balance. There are plenty of opportunities to grow and take initiative. I never felt like I was just an intern who files paperwork or gets everyone coffee. I was a valuable contributor to various projects and campaigns. No matter the position, your input and opinions are valued.

Cons

No room for moving up positions in the company at the moment which can change. You have to approach the PR Intern position as a stepping stone in your career, whether you are granted the opportunity to move up at THX or move on elsewhere, it is a great experience regardless. Genuinely, there are no other cons that come to mind.

Pros

Like most of the reviews, THX is a great place to learn. Most co-workers are nice. Its amazing how such a small team of talented people are still very passionate about the legacy of THX. THX is also in a great location.

Cons

Lots of people come and go, some have stayed on the boat. There hasn't been any consistent leadership/direction and it feels like we're scattering with no budget to do anything. Some have been overworked/underpaid and still continue to work because they believe in the brand.. We used to get catered lunch once a week but not anymore which was nice. You'll be lucky enough to find some fruit in the kitchen if no ones taken it.
