Pros
- Good job availability - Decent communication between recruiters and management - Offer some computer based training to keep contractors skills competitive
Cons
- Charge high bill rate to employer, and pay their contractors way less than they are worth If they charge $35/Hr to an employer...they will pay you half of that, or less The money that you aren't getting paid goes to your recruiter+account manager bonuses - No holiday or vacation pay If you work directly for TEK, you get salary+benefits and vacation pay...contractors get none of this - Very aggressive towards their contractors when they want to find work elsewhere (if the recruiter or account manager finds out that you are looking for other opportunities, they will try to hold it against you or con you into staying with a sub-par contract - Mob Mentality) - Horrible and overpriced benefits package (not worth having, when you can find it cheaper on your own)
