Pros
The company is "okay," Coworkers are supportive and caring, the benefits are above average. In the grand scheme of workplaces, it's definitely not the worst.
Cons
Culture is not as good as they'll try to sell you on. Despite being "all about their people and culture," executive leadership is out of touch with the front line team members (You're typical "we're a family talk track"). The priorities are way too imbalanced on the new high networth private family product and despite promise after promise of improving processes and technology, those goals get way under-supported and never come to completion. There's a lot of talk about fostering an environment for mentorship and feedback but management fails to create adequate safety and relationships to really generate security and openness with staff and mismanages dissenting opinions, up to and including termination. If you're trying to get your feet wet in payroll or HR, cool- you can do that and be happy here. But if you're really trying to grow and be supported, better to pass.
