[From a Sales perspective...]
1. I must have had a dozen different sales plans in ten years with the company (five years with Sysomos, and five previously with their parent company, Marketwired). The company was continually changing and modifying the plan, which was frustrating at times as a commissioned-based rep.
2. Poor communication from the top on down; I often felt out of the loop as to what the company was thinking strategically, in addition to what was coming down the product pipeline.
3. Company did a less than stellar job of recognizing and rewarding top performers. Yes, total comp was fair, but it would have been nice to receive added bonuses or other rewards based on continual success year after year. This did not exist.
4. Unclear, undefined career path. Yes, the company did approach me at times with opportunities for other positions within the org. But this was a very unstructured process.
