Pros
Supportive leadership: From day one, the executive team has been engaged, open to fresh ideas, and clear on priorities. There’s a healthy balance between strategic direction and giving you room to lead. Talented team: I'm impressed by the new starters. There’s a real hunger for collaboration and growth but also, everyone I have met so far has been a decent human being. Clear growth path: The company is at an exciting stage with ambitious but realistic goals. It’s energizing to be part of building the brand and shaping its future. Culture: focused, fast-paced, but also human. People genuinely care about doing great work and supporting each other. No question has been too stupid. I also appreciate the hybrid structure as well as lovely office atmosphere. Resources: Unlike many companies, they’re actually investing in the tools and people needed to succeed.
Cons
As with any new role, onboarding into a leadership position means learning fast and navigating a lot of moving parts. However, that is part of the excitement.
