Pros
The CEO was very personable, encouraging me to pitch in ideas on how to expand the company. She allowed me to feel that my contribution was of importance. The internship was very fun and engaging, and there was a lot to learn. It was interesting to see how much a company can grow when working at a startup. Working with a panoramic view of SF, Mt. Tam, the Golden Gate Bridge, and Alcatraz was definitely a plus.
Cons
The work may seem repetitive, but the staff was always fun to be around. Because it is a startup, there is less structure than there would be had this been a large corporation. This may prove to be less preferable for those who don't like the intimacy with which smaller companies provide.
