Pros

Here is what Syntech's whole MO is. The are a predatory company. I will explain. Syntech's clients are all Big name electronics manufactures. So you are representing some of the biggest wealthiest companies in the world. Syntech's is contracted by these companies to service their products when they need repair. Syntech's does this by contracting other companies and individuals that are in or near the region where the item that needs repair is. Syntech's places an ad on craiglist.com seeking IT professionals. Then Syntech's troll through the resumes they receive and find the ones that match individuals who have A+ certs and who have in past operated as or are currently operating as independent contractors in a repair service capacity. They choose these individuals because they need people who are desperate to keep their small business alive. Thinking that you are now dealing with a company that will guarantee you some income your confidence is up and your motivated to work and do a great job for you new customer. So you go the extra mile for them. That's exactly the type of vendor they are looking for. One they can take advantage of.

Cons

They don't have any intention of paying you. The last two reviews sound just like something Syntech's would write in response to the reviews written below. After working for them a little over three years and being paid only for the first job (a whopping $40.00) I am owed over $500 dollars and now know that if I want it I am going to have to take them to court. They are a bunch of criminals running a scam. I don't think companies like Sony and Visio are aware or involved Syntech's Scam operation. I am hoping to shed light and expose Syntech's bad practices.

Pros

This is a very solid company, well evolved. I have never been unpaid for my efforts, concerning contracts that I have rendered for them. The rate of payment is adequate for the amount of work required, and some times overly generous in situations that require special attention or escalated efforts. The management provides guidance in all aspects of involvement, casual yet strict, friendly yet formal, while understanding the complexities and challenges in forefilling the needs of all parties involved. Management of any company this size is a difficult undertaking, and as such, they deal with the complications of daily process far better than other companies I have encountered.

Cons

Like any other company in America, times change, rules change, and requirements change, this is no different with the Syntechs Corporation. I have had brief pay delays in receiving payment for my services rendered. As such, I fully understand the reason behind pay delays to me, as funding delays from manufacturers whom contract the Syntechs Company to sub-contract technical professionals to render services, has a trickle down adverse effect on all parties concerned, not just the technician in the field... trickle down funding delays affect all parties concerned! I have personally experienced these situations, but I have never went unpaid for my services, I have always been paid, and generously compensated in situations of challenging nature. My pay has been delayed, but never withheld.
