Their diversity and inclusion (ED&I) and safety programs are top notch, with no expenses spared. They frequently do games and food if you are into that sort of thing.
Cons
Everything moves at a snail’s pace thanks to resistance to change from leadership. Even if a process could be improved, it can’t be changed because the programming is locked in and they are unwilling to change it... or it takes YEARS. IT is always the excuse. Instead of making real progress, fte's spend their days in endless meeting with each other while the contractors (the ones who do the work) are left to deal. And now, layoffs are lurking and higherups are shifting (ag is in bad shape, layoffs are hitting across multiple companies.). Their yearly improvement goals are mostly for show and it is a production lab that runs samples day in and day out. The thing that is important is to get the samples ran and put up a good show to maintain good work life balance (eg, leave early or 'work from home' off the corp iphone).
