Pros
This review is limited to about 4 months of experience, but I've had a positive experience so far. -A small company that's growing. -A very talented group of people who are good at what they do and who are excited about why they're doing it. -Synergy is small and nimble enough that you can create opportunities for yourself if you're ambitious. -It's big enough to have excellent benefits--some of the best I've come across. -They're relatively flexible about time. There are places that micromanage the precise time you show up, but this isn't one of them. As long as you're getting your work done, you're trusted to manage your time. -There's a genuine comradery among employees.
Cons
Some of the same things I've listed in the pros could be considered cons depending on a person's temperament. A company about to ride the wave of a real growth spurt isn't for everyone. Creating opportunity's and having your hands in multiple projects isn't for everyone (though it's in the nature of a small company). If you're interested in a very large company where you are given a very clearly defined role, this might not be the best fit for you.
