Pros
Synergy is a great company to work for. The environment is demanding, but to me that is a good thing. Firstly, support staff are fantastic. I have never had better customer service from HQ staff. They are friendly, focused on inclusion, fast, and intelligent. Executive Leadership push employees to be better, and that promotes growth. I appreciate the direct style of communication. I never feel disrespected, but I don’t feel coddled either. Leaders tell you, “I don’t want this, I want that. Go do that, and come back when x,y,z is done.” For some, this might seem harsh, but to me, it is a clear instruction for success. Having had many kinds of managers, I find that direct ones are the best if you want to learn and grow rather than have a pretend best friend.
Cons
Being a remote employee I would like to feel more connected to other employees outside my inner circle. I haven’t been here that long, so that may be coming. There is a company picnic upcoming I’m excited about.
