Symphony Softtech - The Most Disappointing Company I've Experienced - Senior Software Developer Symphony Softtech Employee Review

Pros

A positive aspect is the good relationship among colleagues. They generally help each other and demonstrate a collaborative attitude during challenging tasks, which makes the work environment somewhat more manageable.

Cons

My experience at Symphony Softtech has been disappointing. There is almost no opportunity for employees to express their opinions, and the office operates under a highly centralized management system. The working hours are generally from 9 AM to 6 PM, but employees often have to work even longer like 9 pm. Whatever the COO says becomes company policy immediately. Frequent updates on tasks are required, which causes mental stress. Salaries are often undervalued. The COO regularly reminds employees that their salaries are a burden on the company. This environment creates mental pressure from the very start. If anyone tries to speak up, they are subjected to additional workload and stress. Even arriving slightly late to the office—like at 9:16—results in salary deductions. There is no fixed time to leave the office, and employees usually can’t leave before 9:30 PM. You must check in with the COO before leaving, or else you’ll face unnecessary stress and humiliation the next day. There are no benefits for employees, and the salary structure is very unclear. This is one of the worst workplaces I have ever encountered.

Pros

The work pressure was manageable, and the overall environment felt comfortable.

Cons

The salary was far below industry standards, and almost every task required direct approval from the COO, which slowed down work and reduced autonomy. The biggest issue was that my final month’s salary was not paid. Overall management practices need significant improvement.
