Pros
SyMed is a small billing company but a great one! The staff is friendly to one another, making it easy to be the "newbie" as they make you feel very welcome. As a company, they are interested in investing in their staff with an education budget that allows people to purse continuing education opportunities to further their own career. With the company being small, there is a good sense of support and very little separation between team members and leaders, which helps with the 'intimidation' factor you might feel towards management at some companies. All in all it is a great place to gain experience, grow and make a home at!
Cons
This isn't really a con but is something to get used to: people do talk loudly over and between the cubicles instead of emailing or calling one another. That is part of the culture at SyMed, seeing as how it is a smaller company, everyone feels comfortable enough to chat aloud. Another con is the cubicle set up, but that is a personal preference. The computers force your back to the main walkways and personally I would prefer more customization as I dislike my back being to everyone.
