Pros

Can't think of a single one! Taking a job at this company was the biggest mistake of my entire career.

Cons

-Typically when you apply for a position, and sign an offer letter, said position shouldn't really change too much within the first week of employment. I experienced a true bait and switch situation at Swig Life. Within my first week, I was given a whole department to manage that was never discussed in my interviews, nor was it included in the offer letter I signed. The owner/CEO just wanted to off-load a department so that she had less people reporting to her and used me as a way to do so. -The owner/CEO is a highly toxic human being. Unprofessional and inappropriate to say the least. I experienced her bad mouthing other employees behind their backs way too much for just the short time I was with the company. Calling one of her own sales reps "dumb as a box of rocks" in front of the entire senior management team during a meeting, but not seeing anything wrong with that. -There is no respect for anyone's time during the work day. You will have constant back-to-back meetings, but don't expect a single one to start or end on time. Everyone is extremely overworked, but deadlines are not being made. Red flag. -There is no trust, hence the lack of work from home flexibility. I literally heard the CEO say "if we let them work from home on Friday's, they won't actually work". She must also have final say over every single thing, so there is no autonomy for the employees who are actually doing all the work. -Turn over rate is high, which is understandable once you spend a day working for the CEO. There is only one employee who has been with the company since it started, and her relationship with the CEO is probably the most toxic situation I've ever encountered at a place of employment.

Pros

Cool product to work with. Everyone in the office is very nice. You will not be doing the same thing every day in your job because the company is in the mix of a lot growth which is refreshing, fun office morale, relaxed dress code, decent benefits, hybrid work environment with WFH Mondays and Fridays and if you need/want to work from home you can! You will learn a lot. A good environment for people who want to learn in a fast paced environment with a fun product.

Cons

Under staffed, employees should be paid more for the amount of work load, the company NEEDS more upper management with strong leadership skills to help guide and lead team growth, company revenue, and better work compensation. A lot of people sit all day but you can request a standing desk. Although the office is cute with colors and furniture and snacks it could use a more modern office setup, it is not the 90s where people work to death in a cubical all day, the newer generation of an office should be more collaborative with no cubical walls so the teams can get more human interaction with each other and work less like corporate slaves.
