Pros

Luckily if you get placed with a good Member of Parliament: 1. Excellent exposure towards India's politics and grassroots governance. 2. You learn what makes or breaks systems and processes on ground. 3. A good network through the M.P.

Cons

1. The Management team at SPARC is excessively unprofessional, there have been times when people have been mentally and financially abused. 2. There is very little to less preliminary homework done while selecting a Constituency and MP, there have been times when MPs had no idea why a SPARC associate had come to work in his/her constituency. 3. Respect for human dignity lacks within the programme team. 4. The 02 month long notice period is another form of exploitation, in case you want to switch. 5. For women candidates, in case of any untoward incident, zero support is offered by the program team. They don't even speak to the MP on your behalf. 6. The SPARC program team creates a threatening aura around target oriented professional conversation. 7. There is no HR Policy.
