4yThank you for your time to share the review.. We are glad that you were able to learn from our technology stack and you like our culture. We take our culture seriously and always strive to give the best possible experiences to our customers and employees on our journey to build a world-class product company.
We are sorry to hear about your concern regarding micro-management. We are a result-oriented company and discourage employees from micro-managing or being micro-managed. We strongly believe in providing employees with a platform & freedom to execute and deliver on the company goals and vision to win together as a team. If you still feel micromanaged, then as an open door policy company we strongly recommend you talk to the right stakeholder you are comfortable with or have a discussion directly with the CEO himself.
All of us want our time at work to be fulfilling, productive and enjoyable rather than being micro-managed, hence it’s important to understand what micro-managing is and isn’t and recommend one should understand the difference between constructive and destructive criticism. Although we concisely avoid & discourage micro-management at every level, it's still in control of oneself to appreciate constructive criticism and ignore the destructive ones. Finally, one should understand that it’s not others that control someone for how they feel but it's ourselves and how we react to a given situation, hence it's good to flip the switch once in a while.
Regarding the three months notice period, we are transparent about it even before an employee joins the company to set the right expectations and ensure the long term interests/goals of the company are protected. Any prospective employee has the choice to accept or refuse the offer before taking up the employment. Having said that, in the majority of cases, we ourselves have to wait for prospective employees to serve their notice period with their past employer which usually is a minimum of 2 to 3 months before they join our company.
Once again, we would strongly recommend you to talk to your manager or the right stakeholders that you are comfortable with to ensure challenges can be addressed and you have a fruitful career. After all, we are a team and can address challenges only when coming together as a flock and solve for things.
