- High profile clients - Many different projects, so there is always a lot of things to do.
Cons
- Shady practices by the management, namely their CTO. They fired most of their staff without any prior notice, violating 30 day notice specified by their contracts. Their last salary has not been paid as of writing this comment (laying offs happened on 27th of December). - Management used the tactic of withholding payment, until these ex-employees remove posts/comments on LinkedIn where they expressed their dissatisfaction with how Surreal Events treated them. - Mismanagement of company assets, mainly people. There are no established processes, documentation is very slim and there is no code review which creates a mess where a junior will push something without anyone checking it until it all starts to crack.
